Specialist Psychological Therapy for Chronic Pain & Mental Health
Specialist Psychological Therapy for Chronic Pain & Mental Health
You have not imagined your pain. And you are not failing to cope.
You are dealing with something genuinely hard — and there is effective psychological help available.
I am a Consultant Clinical Psychologist with over 15 years of NHS experience, including specialist work in a dedicated chronic pain service — and a broad clinical background spanning anxiety, depression, trauma, and long-term health conditions. I understand persistent pain from the inside as well as clinically — I live well with chronic migraine. That personal understanding shapes how I work with genuine empathy and without judgement about the reality of living with pain that others cannot see.
My practice in Merstham, Surrey offers evidence-based psychological therapy specifically for people living with chronic and persistent pain, as well as therapy for anxiety, depression, stress and other mental health difficulties. I use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Compassion-Focussed Therapy (CFT) — structured approaches developed specifically for mental health and chronic pain conditions. I see clients face-to-face and online.
